It was 5 AM and Realtor Peggy had just gotten off of her treadmill and bounded into her home office, also known as her daughter’s former bedroom.  “Keeping it real, keepin’ it real, and keepin’ it reeeeaaaaallll all day long,” she sang excitedly to herself as she plopped down at her laptop.  Peggy loved real estate and her energy was palpable.

Peggy, a star Realtor, was up on her technology and utilized all the latest social media tools available to keeping touch with her clients.  She would send her home recommendations through Twitter to her 429 followers and put videos of her famous home tours on YouTube.  Her latest project was going to be creating a mobile application (app) for her firm.  “It’s just gotta be real and gotta be me!” she exclaimed.  Then added, “And it’s gotta be easy because I’m not a computer programmer!”

She went on to www.ApWords.com and started to build her real estate agent “Real App”.  As she worked through putting in her company’s details, she started to ponder the possibilities that it offered.  “I’m going to have 3 pages on my app: one for home searches that points to my mobile website, one for 'Real Tips for Real Women', and one for 'Real Info on Peggy.'  Then I’m going to send notifications out to all my clients’ phones when I have new home listings.  And finally, I’m getting rid of paper business cards and will just text my app to everyone that I meet.  They’ll know I’m really cutting edge!  Paper business cards- they’re so passé!  And so not real!”

After Peggy created her real estate mobile application (app), downloaded it to her phone, and sent her app download page out to her Twitter and Facebook lists, she raised her hands in triumph!  It was 5:35 AM and the day was still young.  “Time to have a 'really' great day!” she said to herself as she ran out to her car to make her 6 AM yoga class with her new mobile application in tow.
